A Gratitude Prayer

MY GRATITUDE/PRAYER/MEDITATION/ WHILE IN CHURCH WITH GOD AND NATURE. NOT JUST FOR ME, BUT FOR ALL OF US:
I took a PAUSE this morning to be with God, breathe, move, pull cards and connect with nature.
I talk with God throughout all days, just like I'm in conversation with a friend, because I am.
Sometimes when you practice pauses with others and LOVE it so much, you forget to PAUSE on the regular for yourself.
Until your body, or mind, or spirit, or all of the above remind you...it's time you do it for YOU.
I listened.
I paused in stillness, took a nice slow breath, and felt these words while speaking with God...
THANK YOU FOR LOVING US THROUGH NATURE.
It made me smile and tingle all over, because that's it in a nutshell.
I grabbed my journal and this flowed out...
"Thank you Lord for loving us through nature.
Through the trees that support, the happy hum of bumblebees enjoying the honeysuckle.
Through the sun that warms the body, the breeze that cools, feels mystical and reminds us that the Holy Spirit is always present.
Through the Earth, supporting us with energy, and gladly receiving what we allow to release.
Through the sweet bird songs.
Through the sky, vast and full of possibility.
Through the moving shadows of the sun and the tree, dancing in the wind.
A symphony of sounds, feelings, tastes, sights, orchestrated by you in this perfect moment.
You wrap us in love, as a parent comforting their child.
You remind us you are available always, we simply have to PAUSE to notice.
Thank you Lord for loving us through nature."
The words don't do that moment justice. It was simply a PAUSE, filled with so much gratitude and beautiful connection.
I felt united with the bumblebees, the trees, the Earth, the sun, the breeze, the flowers, the sky, the birds and God.
Your relationship with God is your relationship with God. It's unique to every being.
In, church, in nature, with others, by yourself. You are met where you're at.
It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks of it, because it is for YOU.
Isn't that awesome!?!
It all begins with a PAUSE.
