Weighted Vests Rock

Hey there, friends! Meet my newest love...my 12 pound weighted vest. She doesn't have a name yet, but she will definitely be named with a badass girl one for sure.

I did some research after seeing many women share how much they love incorporating the vest into their days. And of course, I love to try all the things, see if I love it and want to make it part of my routine and share!

To say I love her is an understatement.

I have used ankle and wrist weight many times, but find that I enjoy this way more.

I wear her all day, except when teaching Yoga and I LOVE the feel of it while walking.

Benefits and things I've noticed...

• Improved posture
• Awesome core strength and stability
• Greater hip stability
• It improves pelvic floor health, which I can feel when wearing and walking with it
• She definitely amps up the heart rate
• Feels like wearing a heavier backpack
• The evenly distributed weight feels really good
• Improved shoulder and back strength
• It's so fun to take her off and feel so light!

I have naturally loose (not just flexible but loose) joints that CRAVE strengthening.

My shoulders and neck do not like using bands or heavier hand weights. So, I mix light hand weights, weightless arm exercises, planks on the rebounder and other things that don't spike headaches due to neck and shoulder strain.

I didn't know how my shoulders would respond to the weighted vest...they love her!
